Portrait Project “Saving Face”

“Saving Face” is painting and charity project which I created together with Ela Kraszewska from the Wiele Sztuki Gallery. The whole collection consists of 43 oil portraits and 2 pencil drawings created by me. We invited highly regarded people from the world of culture, art, science and business to take part in the project: prof. Jerzy Bralczyk, Jan Frycz, Aleksandra Konieczna, Grażyna Wolszczak, Jacek Dehnel, Cezary Żak, Szymon Majewski, Grzegorz Turnau, Czesław Mozil, Tomasz Ciachorowski, Paweł Ciołkosz, Natalia Sikora, Piotr Cyrwus, Jerzy Owsiak, Joanna Dark, Mikołaj Trzaska, Leszek Możdżer, Artur Andrus, Krzysztof Materna, the Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts prof.Adam Myjak, Andrzej Pągowski, Wojciech Pszoniak, Director of the Polish Theatre Andrzej Seweryn, Director of the National Theatre Jan Englert, Director of the Polish National Ballet Krzysztof Pastor, Michał Szpak, prof. Leszek Balcerowicz, prof. Marian Zembala, Mumio Theatre Group, Lidia Popiel, Joanna Radziwiłł, Chris Niedenthal, prof. Jerzy Stuhr, Maciej Stuhr, Ewa Ewart, Michalina Łabacz, Father Andrzej Luther, Krzysztof Zanussi, Richard Boulay vel Boulez, Tomasz Gałek, Ewa Skoczylas. The entire collection was presented duringthe official opening of the foyer of the Arnold Szyfman’s Polish Theatre in Warsaw, during which the auction of all portraits took place and the entire income was devoted to the development of children looked after by the Joanna Radziwiłł’s Foundation named “Opiekuńcze Skrzydła”.
