The expression of vibrant colors, energy, and life. That’s the painting of Iwona GOLOR, a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. The painting exhibition titled “Among WILD Cacti” is a marvelous journey to the Dominican Republic, brought to us by the artist. Through her creative sensitivity, she showcases the magic of the exotic world, figurative art, and expressionism influenced by naïve trends.

The painting exhibition titled “Among WILD Cacti” is a collection of works from the artist’s latest series, “Dominicana.” The inspiration for these paintings came from the artist’s trip to the Dominican Republic and her encounters with the people, their stories, and the surrounding nature. During her journey, she created plein air drawings using markers on paper. These drawings served as the basis for the oil versions, painted in her studio in Warsaw’s Wola district.
